I hit the jackpot at the disney outlet!

mickeycw- if you don't want to rent a car-you can take the bus(Orlando's bus system-called Lynx). It is suppose to pickup at the TTC and go to Orlando Prem. Outlet. You might have to change busses once-I'm not sure. I found some info on Mousesavers and have also looked up the bus maps a while back. I tried this morning to link to the bus maps-but I think the system is down.
I am going in Oct. and staying onsite, too. I plan on making a trip to the outlets on the day everyone else goes to the water park.
Oh also, if you take the bus and do have to change busses- make sure to ask for a transfer- it's free and you won't be charged again. I think the bus fare is 1.25 each way.

Thanks for the bus info PB'sMom. I never knew that it picked you up at the TTC . That's pretty convenient! Do you know if there's a bus that goes to Belz or would it take too long?

I don't rent a car either but I usually take a taxi. The premium outlet isn't far from DTD so I usually just take a cab from the Marketplace to save money
One day I'd like to rent a car for the day and outlet hop

princess pooh- I am not sure if there is a bus to go to Belz. Another option is to make your way over to International DR. and take the I-Ride trolley. It goes up and down International DR.
I could be wrong, but it looks like it would go to Orlando Premium and Belz. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Yes the trolley stops at the Premium Outlet Mall - it drops you off in the back which just so happens to be very close to the Disney outlet! I've never ridden it but it have seen it picking up/dropping off.

WisconsinDisney Girl - If you're only making one stop I'd go to the Premium Outlet Mall, it's much smaller than Belz but still has a lot of stores. The Disney outlet there has pretty much the same stuff as Belz but not exactly. You can get there from an exit just before you get to WDW (it's only a couple of miles from DTD ). There's also a Universal outlet right across from the Disney one there but it's pretty small.

We just got back this weekend. We had the best luck at the Belz Mall. (We also went to LBV) They have 2 Character Warehouses. They are in two seperate malls that are beside each other. My favorite one is in mall one. They had several pins for $2.99. We stocked up for the kids to trade. We had a rental car, so I can't comment on transportation.

That's so funny, I was just thinking about this thread and here it is again . I'm heading back to the premium outlet next week and I'm hoping to hit the jackpot again! You gotta love those columbus day sales

BTW, for anyone else planning to hit the premium outlet, I just joined the free VIP club on their website. You get a coupon book (you pick it up from the outlet) and you can also print on-line coupons. I'll let you know if the coupon book is worth it when I get back.
