I have been stalled out for a while, and not overly motivated, but finally have hit a little burst again and lost 2 lbs this week which put me at my goal weight with WW!!!! I went to the meeting today, and was pleasantly surprised when I stepped on the scale - it was even a little lower than my home scale was this morning!!! Yipee!!!!
I had a personal goal of a few pounds below this, but if I can just get a 2 lb fudge zone going I will be happy for a while. I still need to do some toning so that I can bear shopping for bathing suits for our upcoming WDW trip, but hopefully this will give me the burst of incentive! I have been enjoying getting back into old clothes that have had to be resurrected out of the back of my closet (even if they aren't high fashion right now) and I really need to go shopping to get some updated stuff, but held off until I was closer to goal so as not to have to shift sizes again. I have never been a "skinny minnie", but I will be satisfied being a solid size 10 here now for a while. The lowest I've ever gone was down to an 8, but even if I go down a little, I can still wear the 10s just a little loose.
I have to say it has been fun getting compliments again. I ran into someone this weekend who hasn't seen me since when I was pregnant (DS will be 2 next month) and she was impressed that I have stayed so slim! Little did she know that it took me these whole 2 yrs to get back to this, but that is an ok secret.
Now if I can just hold on to this and not regress - that is the whole battle, isn't it? Maintenance!!! I got my new maintenance book from WW today since the plans have changed since I was on it last- I think I have it down pretty good, but need to keep it in the forefront of my mind so I don't let my guard down again and gain it back. Going to start getting rid of my bigger sizes so it isn't there as a crutch - if the jeans don't fit, then time to go down, not go get the next size up from the closet.
Way to go to all who have been working the WISH programs - keep up the good work and don't get discouraged!!! We can all get there eventually- it isn't a sprint, it is for the long haul - a marathon, but it is a good run!!!!
