I have to wait HOW LONG to go back to Disney?!!!!

:welcome: Glad you found me.

I was wondering if we were going to be the only ones at DW that week. Yeah right! :lmao:

It is soooo nice to be able to drive! It took about 8.5 hours in the RV so I'm thinking about 7 in the car. :confused3 That's about as far as I am willing to drive. ;) We have flown to Tampa a few times and once to Orlando. I would prefer to take the short flight instead but it would cost a lot more plus we would need a rental car. $$$$$$ At least we can pack as much as we (I) want. Those princess dresses take up a lot of space. Especially mine. :rotfl:

I spent some time on the Creative DISigns board checking out the autograph books people have made. I love the idea and think it would make a great souvenir. So... I'm going to attempt to create one. :cool1:

It seems most people print a 5x7 card for each character and have them spiral bound which seems like a great idea since they can remove pages for characters they didn't meet after the trip. But I have my heart set on doing a hard cover book like the photobooks you get on Shutterfly, snapfish, etc. We will probably end up with some unsigned pages but I'm willing to live with that.

I decided to use Shutterfly to print the book. The smallest size I can do in hard cover is an 8x8. Everything on the DISigns board is a 4x7 so I am going to make my own designs. So far its been fun but I might go crazy before I'm done. :lmao:

Here's what I have so far. Click on the thumbnail if you need to see a larger version.

These are for Donald's Safari Breakfast:

For Crystal Palace:

Here are the rest:

I still have a bunch to do. ;)

Oh my goodness! That is such a cool idea and the pages of your book look amazing! :lovestruc What a great job. When you finnish doing yours maybe you can make one for me too! hahahaha Kidding. That takes a lof of patience I am sure. Well worthy though. What a great souvenir.

I actually would if you want one. :lmao: I love Disney and pretending I know how to use Photoshop. :lmao:

If you want 4x6 designs there are tons of them on the Creative DISigns board. If you want 8x8 you are welcome to print mine. Or I can make a different size or different characters.

That's a really cool idea! Unfortunately for me, my DD is too old to really want anything like signatures or scrapbooks...she has no interest in putting stuff like that together anymore! :sad2:

Wow! Those pages are awesome....great job! :thumbsup2 I love how you personalized them to the Character meals you'd be doing. That makes it so special, and easier to remember when you look back on it. I especially like the pages for Crystal Palace. Love the covers, too! :goodvibes

Your pages are awesome!

Have you picked another restaurant yet. I agree that Ohana and Boma are great. I also thought about throwing Sanaa into the mix. It is over at Kidani Village, super yummy, and you can have great views of the savanah from your seat. Just a suggestion.

Thank you so much for offering. :thumbsup2 I decided I will make one myself though. I guess it is a good way to "kill time" while we went for the trip.

I decided I will make them 4X6. Already visited the DISigns and got some ideas. I mind end up just "borrowing" some I saw over there and working on some of my own and also make my cover and back cover. ;)

I believe my daughter is too young to understand the concept of an autograph but I will use her as an excure to go character hunting myself.:lmao:

Have a great week!

I made reservations for Ohana. But I checked out Sanaa's menu. OMG, it looks yummy! And it overlooks the savanah. We may have to make one more ADR. :rolleyes1

I can't wait to see what you come up with! :)

Last weekend we had a camping trip planned (not real camping, in a RV :lmao:) and all week the forecast was for snow. Of course, we didn't believe it would actually snow. ;) We decided to go camping anyway and we got about 3 inches!!!!!!!! Which is pretty rare in GA. It was so fun playing in the snow all weekend. DD and the dogs loved it. I threw so many snowballs that my arm is sore. :lmao: We almost had the entire campground to ourselves.

Here are a few photos of our GA blizzard. :lmao:

I made a few more autograph book pages. I'm not sure if I'm going to use these or not but they are generic pages for each park:

These two will go side by side:

The autograph pages are so cute! I wish I could do something like that. I have zero creativity.

Wow! Your autograph pages are awsome! I have been thinking about what to do for autographs this trip. Colby is really too little to care about this, but I enjoy getting all the autographs!

Did you all enjoy your snow? We have pleanty more up here if you would like some! They are predicting that we will get another foot or more by Saturday morning. We shall see if they are correct!

How much fun-camping in the snow! Sounds like you guys enjoyed it. :goodvibes

It was so much fun. Snow is a rare treat down here. :)

Yeah, can you overnight it. DH works for UPS, maybe we can get a discount. :rotfl:

I've been going autograph book crazy. I'm going to spend a fortune getting this book printed.

I'm thinking I like the first one better:

I think I like the 2nd one:

I made some adjustments to the Toy Story Pages:

I also made some pillowcases. DD said she would be happy with the rental house as long as it had a toilet and Mickey pillowcase.:lmao: So I'm going to use iron on transfers to make pillowcases for everyone. I just can't decide which ones :rolleyes1

And then I made some t-shirts. :lmao: I have no idea which one's to use:

OMG! You would think I have nothing better to do. :lmao:

Wow. I am totally impressed by anybody who can "make" things like this. Actually by making the pillowcases and t-shirts, you are SAVING $$, and that really gets my attention! :thumbsup2

The really cool thing is that you will have things that no one else has!! I remember someone actually stopping us and asking where my daughter got her t-shirt once (at DHS) when she had a Narnia shirt on from the Disney store from home; I was impressed that no one had that kind of shirt in WDW (if they did, we didn't see it, and neither did those people).
