I believe I would trip over a thread on a bare floor. My feet flew out from under me at Walmart this afternoon! Didn't hurt anything but my pride, but do you know how crowded a Walmart is on a Friday afternoon? And my inlaws were there and saw it happen. I just wanted to swivel up and fade into the floor. Before DS got married he told someone that he would never know if we had a burgler in the middle of the night since his mother runs into so many things when she gets up to go the bathroom. I will walk into doors, dressers, chest of drawers, etc. I mean things that have never moved from their current location, but smack into them I run. Oh well, such is life!!!!:tongue:

Are you DH's long lost relative? I swear when we first met, he was an accident waiting for a place to happen. He once broke his wrist, when he tripped walking up the stairs.

At least you can remember what you ran into. I constantly have bruises on my legs and I can never remember where/how I got them :teeth:

Boots,
My long lost sister, how ya been. :wave:
I am just as clumsy :eek: so don't feel bad.

Boots! I haven't seen you in forever! Hello!!! {{{{HUGS}}}}

Do they make Boot Bumpers?

My DH is VERY clumsy. He decided to help the roofers take the shingles off our roof, he slipped on a shingle and fell off the roof. Good thing it was the lowest part near the porch, he didn't even get hurt. The funny thing was that the roofers didn't even notice that he was gone.

Well Boots join the crowd! I fell for no reason right out side a Dillards store....One minute I stepped off of the curb the next minute I rolled over and was on my back looking at the sky!

Luckily you didn't hurt anything but your pride and thankfully our memories fade ...hopefully quickly!

Whew! I'm so glad I'm not alone! I have a reputation in our family as being the klutziest person going. Last year at Epcot the rest of my family went on TT, but chicken me decided to go strolling around instead. Would you believe this crack in the sidewalk jumped right up and tripped me? I must have been quite a sight as I went sprawling on the ground at Epcot (and yes, it did hurt-that cement is hard-but I was too embarrassed to let it show). After I walked over to First Aid, where they helped me wash off my scrapes, applied Neosporin, and bandaged me up, I met my family. Do you think I got sympathy from them? No, they all laughed as I walked towards them covered with bandaids-"What did you do now, Mom?" I wonder what anyone around thought-what a mean, unsympathetic family!

::yes:: me too. I fall over everything, even things that aren't there. I almost fell into the street earlier trying to get the mail :rolleyes:

In high school, we started calling the UPS man, the OOPS man b/c I always managed to fall down the front steps whenever he drove by.

My brother nicknamed me "victim of gravity" when we were younger. Need I say more?:o

Grandma Ellen, I feel like we're really related.;)

I hope you're not hurting too much.:hug:

BTW, how's that gorgeous grandbaby doing?:)
