I have the BEST DH!!!

He is just the best! I am soooo lucky, and I just had to share.

First a little background. We are going to WDW in Dec and then we are supposed to be really saving hard so we can buy our first house. This has been a struggle for us, but we are getting there. So I had agreed no more big trips untill our house. Well when the idea of the marathon came about, I mentioned it to Glenn and told him that I would try and fund it separate so I could do this. He was a little reserved because of the $ involved (ie keeping us from our house longer) and I often have "grand plans" but rarely follow through. WELL.......

a couple days later I mentioned to him that I was now on the commitee for the marathon. He just looked at me very seriously and said.... "Vija, I am very proud of you." (it made my heart sing!)

and then a few days later he sent me a card through the mail!!!!! On the front of the card it says ATTITUDE... Attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG difference.... then on the inside he wrote....

"you can do it. Think Positive. We will do what we can to help you. Love, Glenn"


Isn't he the best? I get tired of people bashing husbands as being unsupportive (not necessarily here on the DIS, but in general). Not all of them are, and mine is a prince!!!!

I agree with what you are saying about men bashing- happens too much! You are very blessed to have such a great husband Vija- but that says something about you as well. You deserve him!
