...because we go in two weeks!

1. What documentation should I have received? I have an e-ticket for the plane, confirmation email and VEA tickets but that's it!

2. Only just realised that I'd printed the wrong part of the e-ticket!

3. My BIL had forgotten he'd agreed to take us to the airport.

4. Starting to worry that I can't afford Auberge - and I've already told middle DD we are going.

5. Our flight is at 6.30 am - does that mean we need to be at the airport for 4.30?

6. OMG - the exchange rate is scaring me.

I have sole responsibility for this trip, in fact I have responsibility for pretty much everything all the time, but I just need reassurance as DH just shrugs if I ask him anything.

As far as I know you dont need any other documentation - apart from passports of course.

The confirmation needs to be shown at the hotel where you will be given tickets and any meal vouchers etc you have booked

I think it will mean a 4.30 arrival at the airport

Do you think DD will have remembered about Auberge? Could you say it was closed or full and promise it another time or a special (cheaper) treat from the shop in its place, or even a present from a favourite princess

If you booked online, the only thing you need for DLP check in is a print out of your confirmation letter for DLP

We travelled with Air France last time and at check in, they didn't even look at the e-ticket I'd printed off. They just checked the passports. I'd still take the print out with you just in case though

Depending how far you are from the airport, you could always get a taxi if the worst comes to the worst? But the fact that you know now as opposed to when you're leaving that he'd forgotten is reassuring

We had this problem the last time we went. I thought we'd manage but we didn't and I'd already told DD1, luckily for us she was pretty understanding as we promised we'd do it this time. Do you have halfboard vouchers? If you're worried you wont be able to afford it, you could purchase them beforehand and then use them to cover the meal (it'll mean you save quite a bit with the exchange rate just now.

It should tell you on your e-ticket. We're going with Air France and our latest check in is 50 minutes before the flight, so it may not be as long as that

I'm having all these worries at the moment too . I think it's just something we all go through. I've got back up plans with back up plans . I'm sure you'll have a great time and everything will go smoothly.

Luckily the kids are minted after Christmas, so they can buy their own souvenirs. We've got half-board plus, so some meals are taken care of but Auberge is going to set me back £80 for two of us! My middle DD will eat nothing as she is a fussy eater and I'm starting to think I might be better off going to Cafe Mickey or Lucky Nugget. Then I think - she's only going to be 4 once. Decisions decisions....

Kyra wont touch her food in Auberge but i cant be bothered to wait in the cold for the Princesses.

I think that's all you need: e-tickets (printed ok of course lol) for the flight, confirmation email with the booking number for the hotel and the VEA tickets

We usually have one *main*meal a day (usually the evening one) so if you have Auberge for lunch - as Emma says - McDonald for the evening could be a wise choice

If you can check in online then you dont need to be there 2 hours before, try and see if it is possible as it is really a good thing that can save you time

I can't help you with the exchange rate of course but i would say try and save in one meal a day. Have a BIG breakfast and you should be ok with just a *snack* for lunch then

My opinion anyway is *enjoy your holiday and save when you are back *

That's a good bit of advice A holiday's not a holiday if you are worrying too much. I'll be trying my best to keep this thought in my head next week

No chance of that, I don't even play it!

I love your advice. I'm going to look into online check-in. I am such an idiot about these things because we always holiday in the UK. I didn't even know about e-tickets.

Check in online was a godsend as our flight was early in the morning like yours and so we could sleep a little more

Shame you can just do this 48 hours before you leave (if my mind doesnt let me down lol) and so it's a bit of a problem for the return unless you find an internet point and check in there.
We did at the free internet points in Val D'Europe shopping center during our Halloween Trip and then printed down the boarding passes at the airport just using our booking numbers.

I've just had a look at my e-ticket from Air France. Our flight is at 0610 and our latest check in is 0540 so not even 50 minutes like I said earlier. I'd have a look and see what yours says. You can check in online between 30 hours and the Check-in Deadline for your flight.
So i assume you can arrive just before the boarding call
I was there half an hour before the supposed boarding - that was late anyway lol

I'm not even sure I'm looking at the right thing! My e-ticket receipt has the list of flights, passengers etc but when I click on the ticket number the only info pertaining to check-in says: Economy seat, check-in required. Sorry to be so thick!

I got 2 emails from them when I booked. The first is just a booking confirmation. It has all the details but it's in the main email. The second email I got had the tickets, which came as an attachment pdf file which has kind of a summary on the first page and then the next pages have a receipt for each persons ticket. It's the first page of this email - the summary page that has the check in time. Not sure if I've explained it well, but hope it helps a bit.

Just had a thought Did you book the flights through DLP as part of a package? That might be why it's different to mine as we booked directly with Air France so our email confirmation came directly from them

I booked with Disney. We definitely have e-ticket receipts but nothing else! Is it worth phoning Air France for confirmation of check-in times? I would like to check-in online if it means not having to be at Birmingham airport at 4.30 am with 3 kids!

I totally understand. I'm so glad our check in is only half an hour before. It'll be bad enough having to get our 3 out their bed at that time, never mind ready and over to the airport as well

Yeah I would try phoning to check, or you could have a look on their website and see if it will tell you there Maybe if you can check in online, you can get check in times online too?
