I have SOOOO missed the Dis!

I am soooo glad to be back on here! We have had a terrible week. First somebody smashed into our car last Saturday and caused it to be written off. Luckily neither DH nor the other driver were hurt, which is the most important thing, but we were quite fond of our car and hadn't planned on changing it for a couple more years.

Then, following what should have been a simple free upgrade to 1mb Broadband from 300k, we were left with no Broadband access or TV in the lounge from Tuesday afternoon until this morning! Luckily the TV channels were working in the dining room but I soooo missed my Disboards. I felt like my right arm had been cut off!

So I am hoping next week will be better. After spending all day and night on Monday searching online for a new car (luckily BEFORE the engineer messed it up!), then all day Tuesday driving around looking at cars, we eventually went to look at the very first car I'd spotted and bought it. Shame we didn't go and see that one first!

It is eldest DD's birthday tomorrow and she will become a teenager!
Lets hope the weekend will be quiet and uneventful! LOL
