We will be doing to Disneyland, and our hotel is close enough to walk for the 3 days we will be at Disney. The other 3 days we will be going to Universal Studios, Knott's, and San Diego (so we will be renting a car).

My father-in-law thinks we should rent car seats as well, and not bring our own. Has anyone ever done this?

Also, we will be taking the shuttle from LAX to our hotel. Is it like a bus, or will my girls need their car seats on the shuttle?

Which car company would you recommend?

with the renting car seats thing is that they really aren't too clean :crazy2: And what if it's been in an accident...??

Your airline shoud transport yours for no charge..we just put my niece's in a duffle bag and checked it:) It's a pain to lug it through the airport, but at least it's yours..

HTH!!

On the two occasions when we have flown we didnt take our car seats, thinking it would be too inconvenient.

The first time we had to wait for over 2 hours as they were out of seats.....yes, we booked the seats at the same time as our reservation and arrived at the scheduled time. (The excuse was there was lots of people wanting car seats today) duh ? One good thing is they were clean.

The second time, we used a Town Car service. The seats were dirty and there was 1 booster and 1 car seat......it was at that time we were told that each vehicle has only one of each. Not sure whythey didnt tell me that on the phone.

If you want to be sure, take your own. So, far I havent had much luck. Maybe the third time will be luckier for me.

Have Fun
