I have RAD. Is there a cure?

Resort Anxtiy Disorder... Is there a cure? If so what?

The only known cure is to go so many times that you've experienced every resort and have a favorite. Seriously, you can't go wrong with your choices! The only one of those I didn't really care for was the CR. It was sorta "themeless" to me. So have fun picking!

So far I havent been cured...I still think about changing, even though I spent 4 hours on hold last week trying jut to get anything with a decent rate!

I notice your not going to WDW for a while so I suggest you live vicariously by reading all the wonderful resort FAQ threads posted above. Grab your beverage of choice and enjoy all the wonderful information the people on these boards have contributed. You'll have a better understanding each resort's layout and nuances and get excited about a particular resort. Happy reading!

If you can't cure it, just go with it! I am a fellow sufferer, and I've learned to make the most of my "Dis" ability. You'll find your way into a resort that suits you and be totally happy with it. Then you will be addicted like the rest of us and want to go back as often as you can. My husband suffers from WLD (Wilderness Lodge Disorder). He can't try another resort at WDW. We keep booking other resorts and end up changing our ressies back to WL before the trip.

I am actually theDISer who coined the term a few months ago. There is no known cure although you may experience periods of remission here and there, but then something else starts to appeal to you and then it's back to the drawing board.

I have a major case of RAD. But am trying to get more involved in my kids school work and activities.
We are going back 2006 - maybe 2005.
Undecided where to stay for 14 days.
2 rooms at POP for 7 days then on to Dolphin (cot required) ?
room at AKL (bunkbeds) for 14 days ?
room at AKL for 7 days then on to Poly (2 beds and daybed) ?
Stay near EPCOT/MGM 4th of July week - or do the POLY
to be close to MK and the monorail to EPCOT ?

I am so confused, I do not want to make WDW crazy.
So I just make my family crazy - love this web-site for my fix,
and will call WDW in 2005 or 2006 when rates come out.

I will let the AP/AAA/mousesavers/(postcard maybe)
rates be my guide

My true RAD will bloom in 2005. Sorry WDW for my confusion
