I have not read the posts, however…

I still haven't read any of the posts. But I'm going to make Tyler Florence's green bean casserole. I almost spelled it as green been.

I usually make green bean casserole. This year I'm making a green bean, string bean and cranberry dish instead. Hey, it's all good as long as you get your greens!

I've actually never had green bean casserole at Thanksgiving. We usually have Spinach Madeline. I'm a tad nervous, but even if it bites we have plenty other dishes. I mean, how can you mess up green bean casserole?

I don't think it's possible. I'm sure it'll be delicious! :thumbsup2

Even I can make the green bean casserole and my biggest culinary accomplishment is a bowl of cheerios with milk.

Forgot to add that the Salvation Army bell ringers in front of stores do not bother me. If they did, I'd just let my child with attitude talk to them.

I'd just give them a dirty look if I were you.

I'm on my 2nd flower arrangement. I'll get to the green beans in a sec. The flower stems were moldy on the 1st bunch so I had to improvise.

It could be worse. It could be raining.;)

I haven't read all the posts, but, I'd just like to go a little off topic and say I don't think it's all that unusual to name your child after a fish. It's even cute, really. I mean - they wouldn't get made fun of THAT much, would they? I think I'd like to name my first born Largemouth Bass. Or possibly put a spin on that, and name it Smartmouth Bass. Then everyone would know he's not only named after a fish, but he's fair game to get a whoopin' from old codgers.

Would be really great if your last name was Attitude.;)

Sorry, been there, done that. Why do you think I call my DD "Smarta**"? It's just a shortened version of Smartmouth Bass.

When my dad used to call me a SmartA, I always replied "Better to be a SA than a DumbA"

Luckily, my dad had a good sense of humor.

So I assume you also grew up with a HUGE codger fan base? You know, old people who would follow you around and cheer for you every time you showed your snowflake-ishness. :woohoo:

I was a middle child. I had no cheerleaders. I mostly had a booing section and perhaps a peanut gallery with commentary. lol

My dad also liked that one, as well as "It's better to be pissed off than pissed on." Sigh.

But what I'd really like to know is if a crotchbutt could potentially cause nerve damage leading to numb butt.

Also, I always kinda thought "Strychnine" would be a cool name for a big dog, like a Rottweiler or something.
