I Have NOOO Idea what to get ds11 for x-mas!

So this year I have no idea what to get Ds11 for x-mas. He has PPD, Bi-Polar and Mild MR. He functions at about a 1st grade level.

Of course he wants EVERYTHING!!! INcluding a Keruig Coffee Maker He doesn't like arts/crafts and gets frustrated by anything educational such as books/puzzles.

I am getting him an electric guitar, which i've been promising him for several months due to excellent behaviors. But I'm drawing a blank on anything else. The guitar and an DSI XL or PSP to Go will be the "big" gifts, and I need a few more under $30 or so each

I have picked up a few Bay Blades and a talking bank for him.

Anyone have any suggestions?

At that age, my DS was enthralled by an Erector Set. used it for several years. Also a drawing set was lots of fun, I like giving tactile and visual gifts. magnetic sets were also faves. As for the Keurig, Kid's got good taste! I love mine!

I'd definitely get some armor for the DS, never know when it will get dropped; maybe a game or 2; my DS loves legos (although he's so into star wars that he's easy to buy for lol.) What is he interested in?

Try Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days for the DS systems if he gets that. My DS11 adores it! He's still playing it even tho' he's beaten it several times.

Thanks for the suggestions; the DS will definitely get protection. I was actually the one who destroyed his last one. I'm just looking to get a few more presents under the tree; he has a brother and sister who both have about 15 gifts each.

Unfortunately he is not "into" anything. he likes DS and all other game systems. I picked up a Nerf gun today and some clothes (which WILL NOT impress him at all lol)

Is he actually going to learn guitar or is it just for playing around? If he's going to learn, he'll need extra strings, extra picks, and some music books. He'll also need an amp. Tuners and microphones are cool extras.

Does he like the TechDeck toys? They are miniature skate boards, and you can create an entire miniature skate park with the accessories.

Does he have a watch and wallet?

Bought our DS a mini-keyboard several years ago. Loves it still. It has an option that lights up the keys to learn how to play. Great to put up in his bedroom to tinker on from time to time. Really helps him decompress after a long day at school...

There are plenty of inexpensive mp3 players on the market. You could get him one (gift 1) along with maybe a gift card for itunes or amazon so he can pick some music to go along with it (gift 2).
