I totally agree that the crew members aboard the Disney Cruise Ships work very hard. Everyone that my family encountered on the ship was very helpful. They are worth their weight in gold. I dont think that even get full days off, just afternoons or mornings. Especially when you think that you have the same wait staff and room host everyday. I dont think that I would be able to work so hard considering they usually work 6-8 months out of the year. It might be fun though.
And believe it or not, Disney's hour requirements are actually less than most other cruise lines! Many crew members who have worked on other cruise lines have spoken very highly of DCL's programs and the way they treat their crew.

Thanks for the site! I enjoyed listening to the two counselors talk about working in the kids' areas. Gives a lot of insight into the programs. 7 day weeks, 70 hours per week? Wow, that's a lot of hours!
