so
1) if you are staying onsite at a disney hotel do you have hotel parking to pay?

2) do onsite guests have to pay parking at the parks ? how much is this?

3) if staying off site and using the scheduled transport how much is that ? also does it run along side park opening hours or do you have to leave parks early?

4) if you go to the parks and pay to park and leave and return to the same park on the same day do you have to pay again or can you use the same ticket?

5)also some hotel descriptions i am looking at say ( with a rollaway bed payable locally ) how much is this ??

6) also if you have children will they let u take a hire car with no car seats? my friend said to buy them at walmart rather than hire 3 car seats from the rental company

seen some off site packages £2400 flight, accomodation ,car ( no ins)
orflight, yacht club , 14 day ticket,car( without insurance)+ ddp £6300

i know it seems a big difference but im not sure the cheap offsite is going to save us much by time taken food spends, and added park tickets on

thanks everybody and sorry so many questions !!

No you keep your receipt and can park hop once you have paid parking, which will be applicable if you are visiting the parks and not staying at a Disney resort.

Unless it has changed since I last checked (some years ago) Florida laws only require children four and under to be in a car seat. I don't know anything about car hire however so you'll need to wait for the other peeps to help you out on that

1) if you are staying onsite at a disney hotel do you have hotel parking to pay?

No, there are no additional charges for parking at WDW hotels/resorts if you are staying there

2) do onsite guests have to pay parking at the parks ? how much is this?

No, if you are staying onsite, you do not need to pay for parking at any of the Disney parks

3) if staying off site and using the scheduled transport how much is that ? also does it run along side park opening hours or do you have to leave parks early?

I don't know what you mean about 'scheduled transport'. Do you mean Disney transport? If so, there is no charge for use of the WDW transportation system. You can only get buses from the resorts or Ticket & Transportation Centre to the parks though. If you mean, the transport provided by offsite hotels, this will all depend on the hotel. If you get a hotel that provides free transportation to all the theme parks, there will be no extra charge. Some I-Drive hotels providce free transportation to Universal/Sea World but you pay extra for Disney (usually through Mears). No idea on costs, I'm afraid. As far as timings, we found on the times we stayed offsite and used transport, most of the time the buses/shuttles cam back long before the parks closed. In fact, the first 3 years we stayed offsite and didn't see any fireworks until we paid extra to stay onsite for 1 night just so we could stay late at the parks.

4) if you go to the parks and pay to park and leave and return to the same park on the same day do you have to pay again or can you use the same ticket?

No, once you have paid parking once, you can park again teh same day at any of the parks for free.

5)also some hotel descriptions i am looking at say ( with a rollaway bed payable locally ) how much is this ??

It will vary from hotel to hotel but will be a nominal charge per night.

6) also if you have children will they let u take a hire car with no car seats? my friend said to buy them at walmart rather than hire 3 car seats from the rental company

Yes, you can have a hire car without taking car seats - just bear in mind that children under a certain age WILL need a seat and if you get caught even just on the drive fromt eh airport, you could be fined.

are you expected to tip when having a counter service meal

If true counter service then no. Exceptions to this are places like Wolfgang Puck Express, where you order at the counter but food is brought to your table. The same goes for Pepper Market at Coronado Springs.

Hope this helps

I'd expect to pay $10 - $20 a night for a rollaway bed depending on the type of hotel. We have used them a few times as the kids got a bit older and didn't like sharing a double/queen bed.

6) also if you have children will they let u take a hire car with no car seats? my friend said to buy them at walmart rather than hire 3 car seats from the rental company

The car hire company won't care as they aren't the ones who will get in trouble if you get caught. Airlines will carry car seats free of charge.

Child Car Seat Requirements

Florida law requires children under 5 years of age to be properly restrained no matter where they are seated in the vehicle. Children through age 3 must be secured in a separate carrier (child safety seat) or in a vehicle manufacturer's integrated child safety seat. For children ages 4 - 5, a separate carrier, an integrated child safety seat, or a safety belt may be used. If a safety belt does not fit the child correctly, a booster set should be used to correctly position the lap and shoulder belts once they outgrow forward facing child safety seats (generally at about 40 pounds and 4 years old). Children from approximately 40-80 pounds and under 4'9" in height should ride in a booster seat.

Infants must ride rear-facing until they are at least one year old and weigh 20 pounds or more. Rear-facing, the infant should be semi-upright at an angle or no more than 45 degrees. A forward-facing older child should ride sitting upright.

Never place a child in a child safety seat in the front seat of a vehicle equipped with a passenger air bag. Always use the back seat.

Violation of the child restraint law carries a fine of $60 and 3 points on the driving record.

Transportation off site - as above, you will find any shuttles laid on by hotels come back way before parks close. If you are staying on International Drive, you can get the I-Ride Trolleybus to Seaworld (you can get the equivalent of an unlimited use travelcard for them) and the Lynx 50 bus from there to the Transport Hub (TTC). Current schedule available here.

oh so if its children under 5 and not a heigh restriction same as here i will only need 1 of them in a car seat , thats much easier , can always just get teh boys 2 cheap booster seats if they prefer to be higher

About car seats, we once took a car seat onto the plane and used the plane seatbelt to secure the car seat in so the the little one was in their own seat the whole way. Much better as he was able to sleep much better without his head tilting over too much like in a normal seat....... this was many years ago though so check with the airline first.
