Is the refurbishment still going on?

Are all of the rooms refurbished or just some?

What building would I stay in if I'd like a newer room??

I heard Martinique & Trinidad????south is good if you want to be near the foodcourts.
If you are near a foodcourt are you sacrificing a good view?

Which rooms have the best views?

All tips and anything you can add about this resort will be helpful because I am on the brink of booking it!!!!

Thanks WDW buddies!!!!

1. The refurbishment is complete.
2. All rooms were done.
3. any
4. Martinique is closest. Trinidad South is the worst. Look at a map.
5. no
6. All about the same. Just ask for a lake view.

Bldgs near food court include all Mart, Jam 45, Aruba 51, TN 31,32.

The bus stop order for 90% of our trips, coming and going, was as follows...
1.jam
2.aruba
3.barb
4.mart
5.ole port
6.tn
7.ts

I love this resort!! Just got back June 9th and everything was beautiful. We were in Aruba 53, and although we didn't have a water view we were right at the quiet pool and it was just that QUIET. The room was nice and all of the refurb is done.

We were across the way from the foodcourt and enjoyed the walk. It took us about 6-7 minutes to walk, but it is a nice stroll.

Do not stay at Tinadad South unless you want to be FAR from the foodcourt.

There are good waterviews from each section you just have to request it.

Hope this helps!

We were there in the beginning of June and I was told the refurbishment was done, so all of the rooms should be recently refurbished.

Trinidad South is not near the food court. Trinidad North and Martinique are the 2 villages that are right next to the food court. However, Jamaica 45 and Aruba 51 are across the lake but also very close due to the bridge and island that cross the lake in the middle.

Some of the best views are on the second floor facing away from the outer loop road. However, there is so much landscaping that even though our room faced the road we couldn't see much of the it through the trees.

The Epcot fireworks can be seen from various places on the grounds, the Jamaica beach is good, as is the beach in front of OPR. Also, the bridge over the main pool is a good place to see the fireworks.

We found it nice to walk the entire loop on the promenade. Not only does it help you appreciate the beauty of the resort, but we almost missed the long bridge through the woods between Barbados and Arubas. My kids thought this bridge through the woods was great.

WOW! Thanks everyone for your comments & tips..a bridge throught the woods, sounds cool!!

Any more???
