Okay, I just did the very last thing that had to be done......I renewed my AP!!

Wrap a few gifts, mail them ahead of myself, and I'm there!

I was going to ask you about that. I think I need to send stuff on ahead, too. When do you do that and how do you know they'll hold it until you get there? I guess I need to call the Beach Club and find out. Good thinking, Tia!!
I'm all set with room, airfare, park tickets, special event tickets, DIS-CON is paid for. All that's left now is organizing things here at home, packing and final copies of the itinerary. Whew!

What I have done in the past......

Call the resort and let them know that I'm sending myself a package.

Send the package to MYSELF, with my arriving date, in care of the resort.

Voila! It's there. Try to time it so it's not sitting at your resort for more than a day or so.

I'm sending wrapped gifts ahead so I don't have any trouble airport security.....and I think it's safer for the more fragile stuff.

Kath, mine expires on the 28th also. I just called and renewed over the phone.....wanted to make sure I could use my Disney Club discount. I wasn't sure if I could use the discount if I waited until I got to WDW. Last year was my first AP and this year is my first AP renewal. Living and Learning.
