I have a dear friend who worked at "The Great Movie Ride" and he said that not a shift went by when someone didn't ask "Is this a ride?"

I work with a man and he and his wife spend winters in Florida. They are working at MGM studios this winter. I was talking to a couple of guys at work and I was saying that Cliff is working at MGM studios and they both said, "No he is working at Disney!" I said, "That is DISNEY!" :jumping1:

If anyone spots CM Cliff at MGM studios in Disney, LOL, tell him hi from New Hampshire.

Was she wearing a Special Olympics medal?

WINNER!!!

we have a winning thread! Dedicated to the lady who just went to WDW but forgot her helmet!

SO would she ride it if it were called Slash Mountain?

I agree that what the woman said was pretty funny...my DH and I love it when we overhear things like this in the parks. It's always good for a laugh.

I have to say though that the comments regarding her wearing a special olympics medal or a helmet were completely inappropriate and not funny at all.

Are you proud of that comment? It's a pretty low and pathetic thing to say, in my opinion.

I agree. That was quite a tacky thing to say.

The first time we rode Kali, there were these 2 girls who sat in our boat that started freaking out when we started getting wet. They were saying things like "OMG, I'm getting wet. EEK!"
DH and I were getting annoyed but we had to laugh... Did they NOT see the 4 million signs that say "YOU WILL GET WET"???? They don't say you may get wet like on Splash but WILL.
