To try and make a long story short, DH went on 2/16 and deposited his check. It was after the banks cut off time for that day, so it would have been deposited on the next business day. Anyways, I looked online and the deposit showed up after DH put it in, but said 2/17 which I knew it would. It was on there all night 2/16 and all day 2/17, later that night on 2/17 I checked to see what checks had cleared. To my surprise the deposit had disappered!
So I called the bank the next day which was saturday and of course no one in accounts is in. AAAHHH!!!!
The lady I talked to took down my info on what happened and would forward it to the accounts department. But since monday was President's Day I couldn't talk to anyone until today.
Well the deposit was put back in today, and was there all day. Now just 5 minutes ago I just checked to see if a certain check finally got there after 2 weeks and the deposit is gone again! WTH!!!!!
Tomorrow I will be calling my bank once again. This time instead of talking to the head person in accounts, should I just ask to talk to the branch manager? Is there really anything that person can do for me? My bank has changed over to a new computer system and since they have we have had 8 problems {including the ones that just happened} in 2 years. Before that we had no problems what so ever.
I am so upset I could scream!!!!!!
