I have finally warped my child!

We have watched the planning dvd 3 times today (at her request) and she has been immitating some of the things Erin (the host) says. Plus, she keeps asking me about what rides we can ride and who she will see (or doesn't want to see ) all of the time and talks about what we did or didn't get to do the last trip. I have officially made my child obsessed about our upcoming trip.

Is it bad when you've warped someone else's child? My little cousin in 6, totally obsessed with all things Disney. We've been begging her parents to either go or let us take since she was born. They want to be there when she first goes (neither have been) and they're finally talking about January for a long weekend. So my hope is that once they've "been there done that" (my uncle's wife is, as he would say, "so tight she squeaks when she walks" so I know regular trips to Disney won't be in the plan - her idea of vacation is finding someone's floor to sleep on for a few days) they'll let us take her on some of our trips. Well of course she has been bugging them, jealous at all of our trips they won't let her go on. So now that she may finally get to go, she just wants to watch specials, home videos etc when she's at our house. Last time she was here, I realized just how bad she has the "Disney Bug" - she was spinning in my desk chair and announced that she was "in training" for the Teacups.

Well, I knew I was in trouble the other day when DD4 demanded to know why we were NOT going to see "Cinderella" this weekend because she heard on the radio "Cinderella" was coming to town. Well, she's half right. "Cinderella" IS coming to town on tour with Poison. But, sorry babe, not Princess Cinderella. And, no, I did not take her.

lol. The planning DVD is part of my son's DVD collection . . . . and he watches it on a regular basis. . . . whenever he sees a bench (at the local park, at a bus stop,outside a restaurant, etc) he says something along the lines of "when you see a bench you need to sit down, don't go to crazy in the parks" or something like that . . . I honestly don't have the DVD as memorized as he does. lol.

Another one of his favorites is "gravity wheel? we don't need no stinkin' gravity"

Strange child, admittedly he gets it from his mom.

Well, now I don't feel so bad. But if she is this bad at almost 4, what is she going to be like in a couple of years? This trip will actually be her 3rd trip to WDW, people already think we are crazy, but we all love it so it is all good. After the last trip (at 2 1/2 yo) she started telling everyone her name was Princess and still tells everyone her first, middle and last name followed by princess. She even has the other little girls in her day care doing the same thing. I'm sure the parents love that!

My DD has figured out that if she wants me to buy something, all she has to do is say, "We could take it to Disney World!" lol. Seems I have been a bit overboard for buying for Disney, lol.
And she keeps saying, "when we get to Disney world we can ..."
And when mom's in a bit of a mood, she knows how to, (let's just say,) change the mood! lol.

Oh I "warped" my children a long time ago, haha
recently my daughter held up my embroidery hoops to her head, one on each side and said, look! I'm Mickey!! she draws pics of them all the time and calls Goofy - Doofy. haha
