I have created a DCL monster

So my DH and I have been on DCL several times by ourselves. We decided to take our kids for the first time in September 2013. I am hoping that my DD(5) will go to the kid zones at least once so I have a little adult time. She can be on the hesitant side. So to ease her into the cruise, we have been showing her the videos and talking to her about all the fun things to do. Well, we just got back from WDW for marathon weekend. On her second day back to school, her teacher emails me this message:

"Kay told us today that she can’t go to Merric’s party this weekend because she was going to be on the Disney Cruise!! Just letting you know her plans!"

Oh dear...Well, at least it looks like I'll get a little free time after all.

How great that she is so excited to go!

But, perhaps a countdown calendar of some sort might be in order?
