I have been bothered by a commercial..re:weight loss

I'm 5'3" and an 8, and I would love to get down to a 4. That commercial actually does speak to me.

Another ad that irks me is the one for Weight Watchers (I think?) where it shows a sad looking plus size woman and the words "Do you feel like you're the only fat woman in the room?" or something like that. Then you hear a song by Cher (who was never fat) playing.

By the way I am 5'5", a size 12 and happy. I know I could be smaller and be the "ideal" weight, but I am not and I don't care to do anything about it.

I remember reading an interview where Courtney Cox called herself a "chubby size 6." And let's remember when Elizabeth Hurley said she'd kill herself is she got as "fat" as Marilyn Monroe.

It's a very scary message and the media needs to watch itself.
