Using my phone while waiting for a bus to the pool. My Fridge alarm won't shut off even with the switches taped shut.

Arrived at site 112 (barely got in) and no 50 amp service. Tripped the 30 amp breaker once.

Still, life is better at the fort.

I have and adapter from camping world that uses the 30 and the 20 to make it 50 amps. Worked ok the only time I had to use it.

Will your fridge work on gas. By the looks of your rig it must have a REAL fridge in it so I guess not.

SAY....WHAT??? What site are you on so I'll know to just say NO to that site if I'm ever assigned to it.

I thought all the loops ('cept 1500 & 2000) were changed to include 50amp back in 2002!!:confused3

Are you saying there is no 50 amp outlet, or that it isn't working. I assume the latter, and also that you've let the desk know? If it is the former, I think we'd all like to know the site number... and if your neighbors are without also. Thanks for keeping us abreast, and enjoy your stay anyway (I hope).

:santa:

At the risk of sounding like a smart ***, is the breaker turned on? We've arrived at FtW several times to the 50amp breaker turned off.

If the breaker is on & there's still no power - Disney maintenance needs to be called. Ask them for a compensation. You may get an all-day fast pass or Mickey Bars for the family or a free breakfast at T.E. Make 'em pay for your inconvenience!!! :rolleyes1

The site has 50 amps, but I get no power from it. I'm using an adapter for the 30 amps.

If that's the case I would be camped out at the Front Desk until they get a repairman to the site to fix what you paid for. Putting a MH the size you have in a site w/o 50A service and charging a premium is just not right. As suggested go to the Front Desk and say this lack of 50A service is seriously impacting your plans because of the problems it's causing. I almost think you site should be no cost till you have 50A service.

Oh, the fridge works. The alarm thinks the door is open. It's a Norcold and can run on propane.

Exactly play it up for all it's worth since you have an issue and are paying for something that ain't there.

He's fixing it now. Should only take a minute.

Someone must be present, but that's not what they said over the phone.

Oh and FYI, Loop 2000 does have 50 Amp Service in addition to 30 Amp and standard household plugs (never know what to call those 110, 15 Amp, 20 Amp??)

Good deal!!! Way to go FW repair staff!! :thumbsup2

We have had a couple minor issues like that with our sites and they have always been quick to respond and take care of it...:dance3:

One post talked about the adapters sold at Camping World, I happen to be given one because the guy said they don't work if the 15 amp plug is a GFI plug. When I tried it I found it to be true. Save your money.

When we were at the FW in 2005 the power went out to part of the loop. I called the front desk and they had a maintenance man down there in less then 10 minutes. He found a breaker open in one of the sub boxes.
