Thanks everyone! Madyson is 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long, she was born at 4:11 am. We saw her about 5 hours after that LOL. She and her mom and dad are doing great! She loved her pink dress and hat embroidered with Mickey & friends. ;
We're going back later for another visit

Since my sil is a brittle diabetic she put her life on the line to have this child and I was very happy that everything was ok. Having the second arrive in the same week was just very exciting for us

Kejoda- that was most definitely NOT directed at you or ANYONE in particular! I had actually not seen your posts!!!! I had been following Kristy's with sadness, and when I went on to post about my grandbaby, one of the threads for her was right at the top of the list and I just felt so sad about what she had gone through, and awkward about it.
If I want to direct anything that can be considered "sensistive" towards anyone, which is rare, I do so in a PM.
So PLEASE do not give it another thought, and let me extend MY congrats to your SIL. My stepdaughter and her DH went through long and difficult fertility issues and are thrilled with their little miracle too, and that's all I was trying to share

Yeah, how wonderful! Grandma's are called nana's in our family. But they are all the same, spoil the grandkids something terrible. My mother was one tough cookie growing up but put one of her grandbaby's in view, melts like butter. Thanks you for the good news, we all needed it.
