I looked for months for a stroller for our recent trip to Disney. I finally decided I wanted a Mac, but really balked at the price, and the amount of stroller for the price (seemed small & not much to it, although I know they get great reviews).

About 2 weeks before our trip I saw an ad on our local craigslist for a stroller. It was used only as a demo at a baby gear show. The woman is a sales rep for all sorts of baby stuff. Anyway, the thing retails for about $200. I got it from her for $40!

It is by Go-Go Babyz. I have never heard of them, so I did a little research online. They are a very good, but not well known company. They stroller is AWESOME!!! It is a 3 wheel model with a SWIVEL front wheel. The basket underneath is large, plus it has 2 pockets behind the seat, and a convenience tray on top. It comes with its own pump for the tires, and the padding on the seat HAS to be about 2" thick!!! It has a 5 point harness with padded straps, a nice canopy, reclining seat and really comfortable handle.

I LOVED using this stroller. Plus, it REALLY stood out when we went back after a ride to get our stroller. The first time I went to the 'stroller lot' I looked around and was instantly SO happy I did not buy a Maclaren, because there were about 50 around me. Mine was so easy to find....no reading the name on the back of the rental stroller, or inspecting contents to make sure I got the right one of many Macs.

Not that I am knocking Maclarens at all. I heard great things about them. I was just so excited to find a stroller that fit ALL my needs and didn't come with the huge price tag! The ONLY thing I would prefer was the overall size/weight of a Mac. This stroller is a full size, and therefore heavier and bulkier. but it is still lighter than my travel system stroller, and MUCH more maneuverable than my jogger!

Hope this helps someone looking for a stroller for Disney!!!

Thanks Stacy, I just bought a Mac but it is good to hear other options that can help.

Here's a tip for everyone without an easily identifiable stroller (or a rental): Take an inexpensive, brightly colored scarf with you. Tie it around the handle of the stroller. We always do a rental, and it is so easy to spot our stroller, even in the crazy Fantasyland stroller parking!

The Mac may be a bit more expensive than most people want to spend, but you are making an investment. The Volo I bought last year for 2 Disney trips only made me want to cry. I wish I had seen or known about these strollers when my oldest were younger. They are built to last, therefore you pay a bit more. DD doesnt use a stroller at home, so we are only getting 2 Disney trips out of it, but it beats renting and I can resell it. Just wish I had known years ago (before I spent way more than Macs cost) for lots and lots of strollers that just fell apart or broke!
