I have a quick question too

I have 160 SSR developer points I want to use in February. If I decide to book a two bedroom instead of a one bedroom, I would need to have 20 points transferred from another DVC member.

Do those 180 points have to be in my account when I make the reservation? Or can I make it with the 160 points and then have a certain amount of time to get those points in there?

I'm assuming I'd call at the 7 month window, see if a 2 bedroom is available, and if so, quickly make a deal and get those 20 points deposited and then make the reservation?

I believe someone told me (my guide, maybe) that incentive points could not be added on to when I got mine but I may be mistaken. I was told "they are what they are and for x months only".

I specifically asked if I could have points transferred into my account to add onto the developer point trip, and he said yes. He could have, of course, misunderstood my question.

Whatever the case about adding developer points, they would all have to be in your account before you could make the full reservation.
