Yes it has been asked befor, yes I tried search, got service unavailable.









Does the 15 year old going with us in December need ID for the flight?
 
No, my 16 yr. old flew to Hawaii last year and was never asked for identification. Only if you are going out of the county.
 
I've had my teens bring their passports when flying just to make getting through security quicker. I have no idea if it helped or not, but it sure didn't hurt.
 
No they do not need it.

However when my dd went away to DC with her school I got her one because she was getting a debit card and needed ID to use it, and I felt better knowing she had one, just in case.
