I have a question for all you Disney animation experts

Does anybody know if there is a reason that Prince Phillip doesn't say a word for the entire last half of Sleeping Beauty? My girls are currently obsessed with Sleeping Beauty and watch it all the time. Yesterday I noticed that Phillip doesn't have any dialogue at all after tells his dad he's fallen in love with a peasant girl. What's the deal?

Personally I think it is because some higher up at Disney has a problem with females. You notice how mom is always dead and stepmom is evil? Well in this case once the prince has declared his love then that apparently must mean he gets castrated by the female and that takes away his ability to ever speak his opinion again.











Just kidding, but I'm thinking I want to live in Disney kingdom and have a man fall in love with me and then never speak another stupid word in his life.
