If you go for a character dinner inside a park, do you also need a pass to that park? So do you have to plan your park days to coincide with the days of your character dining?

Also, I'm new here (HI!) and there is so much info it's overwhelming. I haven't seen a comprehensive list of character dining opportunities both inside and outside the parks. Is there a sticky or big thread I'm missing somewhere? :confused3

yes - park ticket for dining in the park
how would you tell someone to leave a park after they are in??
I believe there is list here somewhere - most parks have at least one

A HA! I found the character dining list. My first question still stands.

The only ones you don't need admission for is any at a resort such as:

Chef Mickeys- contemporary
Ohana- poly
1900 park fare- grand floridian
mickey bbq- fort wilderness

I'm sure I missed one or two, but you get the idea. Just check your list.

Yes, the only way to get to a restaurant that is inside of a park, is with a ticket.

I plan what I would like to do each day and then choose a restaurant that is either in that park, or in a nearby resort.

There is a breakfast with Minnie, Donald and Goofy at the Cape May Cafe (Beach Club resort)- no park ticket needed for that. The Beach Club is close to EPCOT.
