I have a new job!

I will be working as a carer going into old peoples homes, making sure they are ok, need anything ,bit of personal care etc.
Its not my ideal job, as some of you know - I love working with special needs, but at the moment theres nothing but I'm sure I will enjoy this job!
I have my induction today at 2pm, and then a manual handling course on Friday!

Good luck with the job. I did that kind of work when my youngest ds started school as the hours were flexible. It was meant to be for 1 yr but I stayed 10 yrs The company I worked for weren't great but I got a lot of job satisfaction and met some lovely people.

I did it was interesting! I'm not sure what I feel about the job yet though, I think it will grow on me if that makes sense, I'm shadowing for 2 weeks on half pay-£3 an hr.... hopefully will be on the full rate after 2 wks + an increase on top.
