my town has a high hispanic imigration level. If you live there for a year or so, you pick up on a lot of spanish. I've lived tehre for 14 years. I can't speak it well, but I can read a lot of it. There are actually signs at the mexican border (the part where you cross illegally)saying "go to McMinnville, TN Theres work there" McMinnville is the Nursery Capital Of the World. We've got more nurserys per person per sq. mile than any other place in teh world. usually hispanics work in the fields.
