Hello, everyone!
My friend and I are really hoping to do the College Program this August.
I was on the Program in 2006, but I got extremely sick and had to be brought home before my program ended. So, I have convinced my good friend to do it with me this time!

Unfortunately, she keeps asking me a lot of questions that I do really know the answer to as far as school goes. In order to graduate next May, like we planned, we would have to be back at school by the first week of January. If we get there in August, will there be a time frame for us to pick (after we get accepted, of course) in order to come home that soon?

Also, can we do our presentation online and also go to the presentation on campus? Our campus presentation is forever away, and we would really like to schedule our interview ASAP. But, we don't want to miss the chance to ask questions in person.

If anyone could give me a bit of information reguarding anything really, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you very much!

Usually the fall programs end early Jan. The 2 check-out dates in Jan are Jan 2 and Jan 8.

Yes, you can apply online.

Thank you, Joanna. If we put on our submitted application that we were going to be at the campus presentation (not the online one), are we still allowed to do the online AND the campus presentations? I don't see why we couldn't do both, but I may not know something that you do.

what you might want to do is just apply and say you are doing the online presentation, that way you can get your interview earlier. then when your schools presentation comes around you can attend freely and ask whatever questions you may have.

I did both the E-presentation and the campus one
but I put on the application I was doing the online one, went ahead interviewed and was already accepted by the time I went to the actual on campus one

I would call to see if you can switch so you could go ahead and schedule your interview

Alright, thank you very much!

I indicated that I was going to do the school one, but something came up and I could only attend the on-line. I had already submitted my app saying campus presentation, but just did the on-line one and everything was fine (you don't have to call anyone beforehand).

You've probably already thought of this... but by leaving the program early there is a chance that you have a no rehire status with the company, you'll want to look into that before you get your hopes up of returning. You'll have to present your case and it'll go through an appeal process - which takes a long time.

Finally, this last fall they let people go home early (up to a month) for school. This didn't affect your no rehire status, they just allowed you to end your CP contract early. My roommate did it and was able to spend the holidays at home with her family at no penalty.

Well I've already called the person in charge of my campus presentation, but I just left a message. :]

And I asked about that, and I was told that I have positive rehire status due to the fact that I left on good terms. Thank you for your information. It really helps.

This is what I did too!!
