Hi we are really new here and would love if you can answer a few questions for me:

1. When we enter our 2 bedroom dvc resort it will have toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, etc. Now, do they replenish this every 4 days??
What happens if we run out before the 4 th day and do they replenish all the extra items or just some on the 4th day??

2. On the 4th day do they also change the sheets clean the room??

3. What items are actually in the kitchen I mean like pots/pan plates, steak knifes, etc.. is there a master list somewhere that I can check on so I make sure I don't need to bring anything:)

4. Trash...do they tell me where to put the trash or do they pick it up??

if you are staying 7 days or less -

on the 4th day - they come and replace towels and take out the trash. (there is a place for you to put trash on other days - just ask)

that is all.

no changing sheets or tidying up.

if you are staying 8 days or more - then the rules change.

We think of our villa as our home so we take the trash and recyling out when it fills up. Always extra paper towels tissues and TP under the sinks. I usually gather up all the towels the morning of the 4 day and place them by the door near the closet. I wash the towels in between too, The mousekeeepers are very friendly and eager to please. I've asked for and been given extra towels, coffee and dishwasher detergent and even an occasional box of Tide. Can't answer for all the resorts but this has been my experience at BWV.

No. If you are staying less than 7 nights you will get a Trash & Towel service on Day 4. As spiceycat said, they will change out the towels and remove the trash (although we take our own out as needed). Sometimes we've also gotten soap/shampoo replenishment, sometimes not. If you are staying 8 nights or more you will get a full cleaning. They will replenish items as needed at that time.

If you run out you can call Housekeeping.

2. On the 4th day do they also change the sheets clean the room??
Only if your stay is 8 nights or more. If not then you just get a T&T.

3. What items are actually in the kitchen I mean like pots/pan plates, steak knifes, etc.. is there a master list somewhere that I can check on so I make sure I don't need to bring anything:)
I don't have the list but I'm sure someone will provide it.

There are trash rooms at each property. If you can't find yours just call Housekeeping or the Front Desk to ask them where it is. There are facilities for both trash and recyclables.

.

sorry, but i dont have the list, however I have noticed that is pretty much everything that you need: silverware, pots, pans, plates, cups, steak knives, measuring spoons, tupperware, etc. They do have dish soap and dishwasher detergent and if you ever run out you can just call Mousekeeping and get more! :goodvibes

Their official policy is that they charge you to deliver an extra set of towels before Towel & Trash day.

You can pay extra to have daily T & T service and even a full cleaning, but it's pretty expensive (IMO.) If you go in wih the attitude that it's "home", it really is easy to wash your own towels and tidy up and take out the trash.

I don't know where a list is of the items in the kitchen, but it's pretty comprehensive. You can make any basic meal, strain pasta, open a bottle of wine and serve it in wine glasses, etc. There are wash clothes, hand towel, pot holders, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher soap, etc.

The kitchen is well equipped. This summer, we didn't have any knives, just steak knives. We called Housekeeping and within 15 minutes, we had all kinds of knives to put in the kitchen. I know I've seen a list somewhere.

We even had a few things not on the list that someone left, storage containers and a large casserole dish. One thing I did do that someone on DIS suggested was to wash the dishes in the dishwasher before you use them. We were in a 2 bdrm that was the gathering place for our Grand Gathering. I'm glad I did because the 2 plates on the bottom of the stack and some of the coffee cups needed a little extra wash. We used all our dishes/silverware/cups plus we bought some large Disney cups. If you need to bring anything, if you want to drink more than 8 oz of liquid at a time, bring large disposable cups.

Hope this helps...
