I am still amazed at all the helpfulness there is on these forums even after being on here over a year and a half. I've even been able to participate a little in the Fairy Godmailer which was wonderful. This time, I need a little help from all you wonderful camera whizs out there that love to take Disney shots...I need one particular shot. I'll tell you what first and then I'll explain why...
I am looking for a photo of the boat in the It's a Small World ride at WDW. It must be facing the camera, preferably full of people. From this shot, I would like to use Photoshop to 'redo' it so that it shows our family instead. Why, you say?
Here's the story. Last Oct. we did a Magical Gathering, 12 of us for my MIL's 60th birthday. First time for WDW for several of us so it was a great trip. Since then, MIL has moved out of state so she's alone and the rest of us are too broke to visit. I want to make a special photo to remind everyone of our trip. So why that ride?
Here's what happened...My 11 yr old DS could not WAIT to get there. He had heard about Splash Mtn and all the different rides and was just fit to be tied to get to WDW. There were problems in route, we got bumped, spent the night in the airport so it didn't start out that great. Well, finally, we got to MK which to us meant, we're finally here! We started with the smaller stuff because we had three little girls, my DD, and two cousins, 6, 7 and 8 with us. So there's 8 adults and these 4 younger ones. He was a little bit patient while we did Dumbo, Cinderella, all those rides but after awhile, I thought he was going to explode! When are we going to get to the good stuff? So we promised him one more ride and then we'd go do something 'adult'. So everybody runs to get in on It's a Small World and his reaction was priceless! Do you remember in Lilo and Stitch when she hops in the little spaceship ride and puts in a quarter and Stitch just collapses over the side? That was my DS! It was hilarious!
So now that it's been a year and we're all missing that time we had, I would like to 'recreate' that moment. I have plenty of pictures of the family to cut and paste but none of that ride that will work for my purposes. Can someone help me out?
I'm open to suggestions...
