...if anyone is willing to take it on;)

as most of you know, my dd Grace ice skates and she needs a piece of disney music to skate topopcorn::
my fav pieces (tale as old as time and pochahontas) are already "taken" by other skaters in her club, and my suggestion of under the sea was frowned upon:rotfl:
so i need something beautiful for her to skate to, anyone get any ideas???

thanks tracy

ohh good call louise, is that your favourite?

Not necessarily my favourite but A whole new world would be a nice pace to skate to.

I also love the song from Toy Story 2 when Jessie looks back on her first owner. Have no idea what it's called??

'When she loved me' - lovely song, but makes me cry every time :lovestruc

Be our guest or when you wish upon a star.

Or even its a small world :rotfl2:

when she loved me is an excellent suggestion, i too love that song, ill ask her tomorrow:cloud9:

How about Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride, and she can pretend to surf to it ;)

i would think the jessie one would be a brilliant song to skate to as it sppeds up a bit and slows down
we've been skating this morning but as mine are 4 and 1 we've been to the parent and toddler session. obviosly my 1 year old didn't have skates on but my 4 year old did brilliant she got 2 stickers as she can now sit down and stand up on the ice and carry a tray with toys on and skate without them falling off i was proud

believe it or not her first badge was all about falling over safely...though if you could see the bruiseshe has from a nasty fall on thursday you d never believe she had passed that one;):thumbsup2

I was going to suggest that one! or what about You've got a friend in me from Toy Story or the Bug Overture from the start of Bugs Life, it's a lovely piece of music and has a good mix of pace which I imagine could be good for skating :)

I had a fab piece of under the sea a few years back which was played on like tin drums, I gave it to one of my skaters but I had three or four wanting it, it was very popular! Peter Pan is a lovely piece but its quite strong and a bit more grown up than some of the other disney tunes. There are hundreds of bits out there and I always say its important to skate to music you enjoy. Try thinking about the music then you can search for alternative versions of it, perhaps a slow piece with a big band set up? That way you may be able to use a piece which is already being used but a different version. Best of luck!

abbie first put skates on when she was 2. she probably would have worn them before then but they don't go small enough. Not sure when i will let me little boy loose with skates as he is dangerous. he fell over more than abbie did without skates on he kept trying to run on the ice

What about " A Dream is a wish your heart makes" or " Part of your world" from Little Mermaid. If you want instrumental the "Enchanted Suite" is lovely .. my DD did a ballet to this once and it was really good. Also " Can you feel the love tonight" from Lion King.

thanks guys for taking the time to help, i think we are going to go with when she loved me, BUT she has to make the final decision with her instructor in the next ffew weeks, i ll keep you inofrmed:grouphug:
