Our trip is still a month away, but I’ve started packing already:rolleyes1 Not actually putting stuff in suitcases, but laying it out on our guest room bed. My H thinks I’m nuts since he’s the “pack one hour before the airport” type, but I’m so excited about this trip! It’s our first time there around Halloween, which has always been something I’ve wanted to do. Our kids are still young enough to feel the magic, but old enough to do most rides. And this is our first WDW trip where no one is in diapers/pull ups, lol!

Does anyone else start gathering stuff this early or am I alone in my craziness?

The toiletry bags stays on "permanent alert" and lives in their suitcases. Come back from one trip, refill as needed and back into the dark it goes. Lingerie is also packed long in advance as well as jewelry and other accessories.

DGD's suitcase is almost fully packed since summer is winding down, she's back to school uniforms, and the luggage makes a fine place to store off season clothing.
The man's bag will not be packed until 2 weeks before we leave because we both prefer that I pack his stuff up.

Our next trip to WDW is in December.

You are not alone:).

I am definitely a planner, and begin a list of things that need to be packed a month ahead. At the two week to ten day before mark, I get serious about laying things out! I love that part of the trip. I hope you all have a magical vacation!!!

Thank you!

Absolutely! It’s much less stressful to pack slowly and ahead of time for a big trip. Plus you can be more organized and ensure you don’t forget something.
I love packing outfits according to day in color coded packing cubes.

Piles of clothing, lists, suitcases... Yep. Sounds like me. Some stuff lives in the suitcases, and just gets freshened up when it's time to pack again.

Yep. Same for 'incidentals' Spare charging kit, notebooks, pens/pencils (mostly from WDW), crosswords book for the plane, ponchos, roll of tp (easier to pack than a box of tissues, and more useful), closepins (for keeping drapes closed, and anything else that needs clipping)...
My mother used to call me a pack rat - I think of myself more as a 'packing rat' :rotfl:

Instead of clothespins which are getting difficult to find here I use book binder clips;) Yes, the ponchos live in the suitcases as well. Learned that detergent pods probably shouldn't be left in a suitcase as they can expand in hot weather and burst so now I've gone back to a mix of dry bleach and powdered detergent in a ziplock snack bag; fine as the pods are too expensive to me for everyday use. Yep, I'll do fine in the Zombie Apocalypse, LOL.
.
