I have 5 days and 11 hours till we leave and I have nothing packed! Tell me I am not alone. I have a ton of clothes to wash so I can pack.

Went on a trip in late September, didn't pack A THING until the morning we left. Know that you are not alone!!!!

You're the opposite of me. We leave Wednesday at 4:30pm and I have Wed off from work but I just started today (well, really packing today - I had some piles prior to today) and have about 90% of the kids clothes packed and about 50% of mine. Now just to get my husband to get his out in a pile on the bed and I'll be about where I want to be before Wed. I hope to be about 90% total everything and just double check and finalize on that morning while the kids are at school.

Oh - and I'm running LATE this time, normally I start real packing about 2 weeks prior....Especially when I'm not using those summer clothes right now.

But I know a lot of last minute packers and they seem to be fine by the time push comes to shove. I guess they are better under pressure! So must be you! Good luck.

I used to be packed 2 weeks before, since DS arrived it doesn't seem to work that way. I don't have to pack the kids so I should be doing alot better there. Now if those clothes would go wash themselves it would be smooth sailing.

Don't worry, We leave one week from today and I haven't started packing yet either. I'm not sure how much to pack for Nov. I have set aside a few pair of shorts and tee's and swim gear for the kids. But pants and sweat shirts are the last thing to get packed. DH and I have been running around most of today trying to get the last minutes stuff bought for the trip. I am so excited that I can't sleep. I keep running lists of things to take in my head!

My daughter leaves tomorrow morning with my parents for three days at Disney, and I haven't even done the laundry yet. I have to be at work in ohhh ... 10 hours, and sleep sometime. LOL. She'll either go nakey, or I'll pack some ... thing. I think I even need to go to the store for more wipes, I just don't have the energy.

We leave the same day you do and I haven't packed either. We can't pack until the day before or the day we leave for a trip or the puppy dog goes nuts and stays that way until we do leave. I make a list of everything I want to take, make sure all the laundry is done and then when she isn't looking I break out the suitcases. Good luck!

We never pack for any vacations until the morning we are leaving unless we are going to Europe and then we start the night before. We like living on the edge.

You are not alone. We leave on Tuesday morning and I haven't packed anything yet. It's driving me bonkers, too! I'm usually packed at least 2 weeks prior, but this time we are surprising DD and I've been so busy with work and school (so much homework!) that I haven't had any extra time to devote to my trip planning. At least I have my ADRs in place! Regardless, I'm as excited as ever and we really need this vacation! When DD goes to school on Monday, we'll whip out the suitcases and pack away!! It's kind of exciting living on the edge this time! And, maybe, just maybe I won't over pack this time...

We leave Dec 9th and I started packing the girls stuff yesterday! I have an excuse though - I just wanted to start getting the summer stuff out of their closests - plus I work, and who knows when I'll have time to do it all

I never pack for any trip more than a day or two ahead. Sometimes I'll have a pile of things started so that they don't get forgotten but not packed.

We leave on Friday and I've got the clothes (except for socks and underwear) all packed.

The water gear (wings, rings, sun screen) is packed and going ahead down with my parents who are driving.

I have the kids toys, books etc for when we are down there, as I'm sending them with my parents who are leaving on Tuesday.

When I fly with the 2 kids (alone ) on Friday, I'll just have the 2 suitcases (1 big, 1 small) and then the carry ons (backpacks for us all).

Hopefully all will go well.
