I have a bunch of questions..

Hi all

I am wondering several things, some of which would probably be better answered in other forums, and if so, mods, please move as you see fit.

Ok.. originally I was planning a trip for January 2014, but then the Eat To The Beat artists were announced and my favorite group of all time, Manhattan Transfer, was announced for 10/12 and 10/13. How can I resist that??

So now I'm hoping I can switch everything around and go in October instead. Has there been any mention of potential specials/promotions during that time? Historically, have there been blackout dates during ETTB?

Also, will they have dinner packages with priority seating, like with Candlelight Processional, or are we just on our own with the seating situation? They haven't mentioned participating restaurants, so I wasn't sure.

I need to make ADRs and plan accordingly, so I'm wondering this stuff..

Sooooooo.... October discounts, anyone?

There are no packages offered for the EWTB concerts. I believe the time frame you are talking about is one of the fall weeks that is normally blacked out for discounts, or close to it, but right now I can't remember what the reason is that people usually post. It will probably come to me 5 minutes from now.

We are going Oct. 11-14. Monday the 14th is Columbus day, so we are not counting on any discounts. But you never know....we are still hopeful.

People who have gotten pin codes have been posting that much of the first half of October is blocked out. Along with Columbus Day, there are a lot school districts having fall break and the very large Gartner IT symposium within that time frame. The pin code dates that I saw posted that are blocked out are Oct 3 - Oct 17.
