See now at least Donna & Bonnie think like I do... driving Chicago during nice weather was bad enough Bonnie, I agree, April sounds like about the earliest time I'd drive out there. Maybe late March but not even in Feburary would I attempt that drive. Now I'd try to fly but no way would I drive!

I quite seriously (well partially seriously anyway ) looked into plane tickets to Chicago for the dates of the last DIS meet but it was about $500 from here. $100 would be so much more bearable. I'd hope that airport pickup would stand for me too should I ever eventually some year make it down there. I've gotta try to get you DISers to come up North West though. Don't you all want to see real winter, and real cold? You know, the kind that makes you not want to blink for fear of your eyelashes sticking together? Ah... but it's a dry cold. (It is gorgeous in the winter here though, LOL!)
