I Have a 40% Off Code Quesion

I called Disney yesterday and we have a 40% off code on our name. Yeah! But, we would like to book our trip for December 12 - 20 and the 40% off code does not correspond with those dates. Are the dates he offered us set in stone for the 40% off code or will the dates be more flexible the closer it gets to December?

The dates are set in the computer system from what I am gathering. The code can not be applied on dates not listed. They said they could change my cousins and were unable to honor this. So we changed our dates to match the code and we got it.

I'm pretty sure these are the dates on mine:


January 06th to 17th
January 20th to 31st
February 24th to March 5th
March 30th to April 8th
August 10th to September 27th
October 19th to November 1st
November 9th to November 15th
December 7th to December 17th

Those look like the dates that were on mine. My understanding is that they are set in stone. They are basically to drive up business in slower times of the year. So it would defeat Disney's purpose to offer them during busier times of year.

Basically, they avoid most school holidays (except for those of us who return to school after Labor Day )-- everything from Easter to Passover to Election Day is blacked out.

I've called several times with no codes attached to our name and gave up the hope of a trip to Disney this year. I requested a DVD to be sent to me anyways just to dream. I called reservations again last night, which was about a month or two after receiving the DVD and asked said that I was interested in getting rates for three possible time periods. CM Sylvester noticed I have been to Disney 49 times and asked if we were celebrating anything or planning on doing anything new this time around. I told him that if I got a good deal and could talk my hubby into going than we would be celebrating his birthday (1st time period I wanted to check), celebrating our anniversary a bit late and celebrating my 50th trip. I told him that I would actually be there in just a couple of weeks to chaperone my daughter's choir group but I don't count a trip with a hundred screaming teenagers as my 50th trip. LOL He said well, let's see what I can find. He asked for our names, address, phone number, email address, etc... and said yes, there's a 40% pin code attached to my husband's name. It wasn't there when I called several months before. The code was only good for my 1st request in dates which is Oct. 26th - Nov. 1st. I've never been lucky to get a pin code in all of these years until now. WooHoo!!! I'm sooooooo excited!!! The 40% pin code more than likely won't be available for that time period in December since that month was other choice and Sylvester said with it being that close to the Holidays he highly doubts discounts would become available.

MariaEller, that is great that you were able to get the code. We will be there the same dates as you. I ordered the DVD and I'm hoping to get a discount. Do you know is it only available for room only reseravations or if you get the dining and tickets do they still discount the room portion????

Hi Lovepooh! Yes, you can get the discount along with tickets and dining. We got 7 nights, 6 day park hopper passes and the basic dining plan with the 40% pin code. I hope you get the discount!! C you there!!

I received an e-mail in January and it said, I had to use the code by March 12. I wonder if they extended the deadline.
