I have 7 points in Holding...Options I haven't thought of?

My UY is December. I have a trip planned starting 10/9. However, as far as I know, even if I was able to use those 7 points on that reservation, that would just give me 7 more points I would have to use by 12/1/18, since my banking deadline is past. So, the only 2 options I can think of, are donating or transferring to existing DVCer. But donating would be making reservation & then donating that, which would be one night mid week, in the next 2 months. Not sure anybody would be interested, however.
Anything (other than just letting them go), that I have overlooked? Thanks, Debbie

Stay an extra day? Get an extra studio for one night and the deluxe dining plan to use over 2 full days?d. Ask DVCMC to give you grace and bank them? though I likely wouldn't just for 7 points. I'd call and ask DVC as well.

The other option is the 24 points one time per year offer. You could "rent" up to 24 points directly from DVC and possibly upgrade your December stay, if the room type is available.
