I am new to the renting points thing, but I will be needing somewhere to stay the week before our cruise may 20th thru may 27 2006....I have a family of 6.I am not really sure where we would need to stay that would be the most cost effective, but if renting points would be cheaper than 2 rooms, I am highly interested. Could someone help me out by explaining what point value I am looking at?

If you still have any points, are they transferrable or have they already been banked? I am a DVC member and they could be transferred directly into my account upon payment if you still have some.

I was trying to tranfer all my points to someone but discovered that the points I have are banked points and I will have to make a reservation on behalf of someone in order to use them up. I had quoted $8.00 per point if someone would take the whole lot but now, i have to charge $9.00 per point and sell them in little segments with me making the reservation etc. I need to be paid for what you would like by january of 2006. If you can do that by wire or certified cheque than we could work something out. Please let me know. Karen.

My family is looking to stay Sunday, Oct 29- Friday, Nov 3 2006. We prefer a bwv standard room which should take 45 points. Offering $450. I understand that boardwalk has to be your home resort to make this reservation this early. If your home is vwl or bcv we would consider it but could only offer $550. We have rented before and understand the basics. Honest renter looking for honest owner.

Sorry to hear that you no longer are willing to rent your points to me. Your emails indicated you were checking availability. I was able to pay you in January and was willing to meet your terms. I feel that you have been very dishonest with me - first offering your points at $8 and then changing on the board to $9 and now stating that you're donating them yet are still listed here as willing to rent. What's up? A bit of honesty would be nice!
