I hate

Ew. Those are the worst kind of projects anyone can have.
Luckily are classes are too often for us to do really big projects in groups so the one we do, do for honors we got to pick our partners.
Obviously, I went with my friend who will definitely help me get it done.

Sorry, Shelby! Hope you get it over with soon.

I'm a natural leader I guess, and I know how to make sure everyone is doing everything my way. I've never gotten lower than an A on a group project :D I love them.

I have a lot of projects in tech class, where they usually put someone from advanced classes with two (or one, depending on the situation) who isn't, and I can usually get them to listen to me since I'm seen as smart, because I'm in Algebra II. So they'll listen to me.

Now working with other "leader" types is a different story. I really don't like working with other cholerics.

I know right!

This girl wasn't someone I would have picked to be in my group, she was assigned to us. My class had enough for 5 groups of 5, and two were absent on the day we picked groups. one group wanted one of the guys who was absent, and the other girl got put in my group, because we only had four. She's pissed off that she can't be in the group with her friends, so she doesn't even talk to us when we're in class, she sits across the room, talking to her friends.

And when i asked her what days she is free, so we could plan to meet, she said, "I don't even know." and ignored me. And she didn't give ANYONE her contact information, so we had no way to get into contact with her, until we found her on facebook. which was hard, because she doesn't spell her name correctly. (and by correctly, I mean, the way its spelled on the class list. Its like she spelled shelby as chellbie. Its weird, so we couldn't find her in a search)

So today we were supposed to meet at 4, and two of the guys and I are waiting for fifteen minutes, before we head up to one of the quiet study rooms in the library, and she never showed up. I get home, and at 4.30 she sent me a message on facebook and asked where we are. Well maybe you'd know if you showed up on time!! And SHE picked hte time and place to meet. I mean, my god.

I'm just ready for it to be over. We've pretty much written her out of the presentation. She has a two minute part, out of a 20 minute presentation.

I hate when one person stops everyone else. If they don't care about their own grade fine, but when others grade are at stake its just wrong. I hope everything works out.

Ditto. People hate me for it, but I'm a control freak. When I'm in groups I like to be the leader. I feel better knowing exactly what every one should be doing and if they're not, I hound them. I do work for NO ONE! Everything gets split up equally and if you don't like it, go find another group.

Or it could be that I don't take orders from anyone, which is why I would never last in the military. :rotfl:

I'm doing one tonight the girl who has all the work mom died over Spring break and was going to be here today to give us all the work but ended up not coming. So now I'm doing the whole groups project since I don't trust anyone in the group to do the work so I'm doing it all tonight... Argh... I hate group projects

me too i usually get jammed with all the work while the other "group members" sit and talk and watch d:

honestly, wow. you'd think in college people could be more responsible. guess not. props to you for trying to keep your sanity together! i would have lost it by now, seriously she sounds like the biggest airhead ever. i hope you somehow pull through since it's due tomorrow!

Seriously! I don't understand how people can survive college acting like this.

I have a 15-20 minute speech presentation to do with my group on thursday at 4. we've only met out of class once, and that was today, and only one other person showed up. This is ridiculous.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me when I had to do a group speech in public speaking. I was about ready to rip my hair out by the end. ugh...:headache:

well the project is FINALLY over, thank goodness. The presentation was okay, but not as good as it would have been if we had really gotten to meet all those times that we planned to.
