we had a connecting flight from orly international to atlanta, then to nashville.
the atlanta to nashville got canceled.

we had to drive from atlanta to my house, and my dad has to drive from our house to nashville to get his car later.

oh, and we didn't get refunded or anything.

never fly delta you guys.

They booked us a connection flight 5 minutes after our arrival flight touched down. Needless to say, we didn't make it. And we didn't get refunded... Until my mom demanded to see the highest level officer at the Delta booth thingy. xD

We always use Delta and never had a problem with it; sorry about your bad flight though. Losing luggage is very annoying. We lost ours with an international airline a few years back and it was horrible waiting for it.

TCD (Travel City Direct) is the worst for delayed and cancelled flight. Plus their only jumbo jet flys in and out of Cardiff which is a tiny airport and the plane looks ready to fall apart.

well, we took the interstate from atlanta to chattanooga, then to my home town. that was about three and a half hours. now its two hours from my home town to nashville, and two hours back, so seven hours of travel total, to get home.

plus the hour long flight from orly internat to atl internat.

Ah that sucks.
We have a 3 hour journey to the airport and then a 9 hour flight and like 20 minutes to disney. We tend to go up the night before and do a twilight check in. It takes the stress right out.

traveling is the worst part of traveling. i wanna just instantly be at my selected location, and not have to go through the hassle of getting there.

Haha, I went with TCD the second time we went to Florida. The flight back home was delayed by 24 hours, but hey I didn't care just meant another day in Florida.

But compared to Virgin, TCD was pretty crap.

Ohmygosh. I So know how you feel! About a year back we went to spain, and had no problem what so ever getting there. well about mid way into the trip my dad had to leave to return home for work. He left on a flight and my mom, sister and I stayed in barcelona for a few more days. We decided to get a few souveiners and return to the hotel for the night. As we were paying my mom noticed she didnt have her credit cards. She then remembered that dad had to use them for tickets. Oh gosh.... we were stuck in barcelona without any money!!! (just wait its going to get way better) My mom almost to have a major meltdown called my dad but no use, he must of turned his phone off for the flight. We thought positive and used a few left over euros that we collected and bought a bus ticket back to the hotel. As we waited for the bus my mom spotted a nearby police officer and tried to get the u.s union on a pay phone. BTW- she left her purse unattended on the bench. my sister and I walked around and looked around. A few seconds later a man in a dark blue shirt ran up really fast and snatched my moms purse off the bench and ran to an underground parking lot. So long story short- Stuck in barcelona. No money, No phone, NO PASSPORTS!!! oh boy were we in for an adventure.

I love Virgin. Despite the fact that the first time we went with them the plane lost an engine and a hostess screamed at me about the plane exploding (i was 6.) TCD delayed our 7pm departure to flight to 9 then to 11. 11 comes and we're not called to board. We get delayed till 12. Well the only other plane around is an irish one (Dublin Air i want to say) it goes out to the run way but then comes back in. Because you know it's so late the damned airport closed. I believe they told us they were getting controllers in from Miami. All i know is that finally at 2am we took off. This was at Sanford International i think. Bloody airlines.

Apparently the person who stole my moms purse threw the passports out of the purse (what good would our passports be to them?) and The person who found them gave them to an officer which then returned them to us and the very kind lady gave us 50 euros as well. we were officialy stuck in barcelona for like 3 days and my dad sent money and stuff to the airline ticket booth in barcelona and we got home the following day.

Oh yes, it was just beautiful!!! Its cool seing sites and places that have been there for so long. I <3 history and if u do too its the perfect place to visit
