I Hate Thunderstorms!

I thought i would only have to contend with them in WDW in August, but no!

Currently there's a thunderstorm going on outside my flat and i HATE IT!

Anyone else scared of thunderstorms? Or do you love them like my BF?

We've got one here at the moment as well. I don't mind them as long as I'm inside dry and warm, although they play havoc with my Sky signal.

My Mum's best friend had an auntie who was terrified of them though.
She used to shut herself in the Cupboard under the stairs, and once was in there for four days because she refused to come out!

Not a great fan myself, although I deal with them better since having children, not wanting to show them fear!!!

When he was younger our youngest DS in Florida would put his handles either side of his head, on his temples, and run around shouting 'the madness is coming the madness is coming' if a storm approached!!! I had not thought of this in some time but as I was preparing dinner tonight he came into the kitchen and looked at me and said it, I laughed so much!!! he couldnot understand why!!!

Love them, they're brilliant. The ones in the US are - to steal a phrase - AWESOME. I hate the heat in August in Orlando but love the Thunderstorms.

They dont bother me that much as long as Im inside. We havent had one today though but it hasnt stopped raining.

I love them....Me & DH saw a fantastic one in Australia a few years ago, we were standing next to each other shouting at the top of our voices but couldn't hear each other over the thunder and noise of the hail!

I hate them, but like others have said if my girls are in the house with me then I try to act all brave , my DH loves them

I love them but I think it stems back to a very early age !!! When I was a baby my mum used to put me outside in my pram whenever we had a big storm ... not sure what she was trying to do but she says I loved them and would just lie all happy and content in my pram in the back garden in the middle of a storm !!!!
