I HATE this commerical

Girls Gone Wild, I understand about being freedom of speech but come on. I was looking at my t.v. guide and a program that i want to watch was suppose to be on instead it was Girls G. W.
So I changed it and I went back about 10 minutes later to see if my program was on yet and it was G.G.W. I guess it is an half an hour commerical.



And now Cartoon Netwook has Adult Swim Mature cartoons for 18 years and older.

Give me a break.... I really being to Hate T.V. I dont even have Mtv or vh1 programmed into my t.v. im about ready to delete a couple more.

Thank God my kids like PBS, PAX, Toon Disney, Diseny and Nickelodeon, TLC, and the Food network, and the travel channel.

My understanding about Adult Swim is that it's mostly double ententres (no nudity or swearing or things like that) & it comes on after 10pm.

i didnt know about that programming until one night my 9 year old was sick and I turned it on for him and I was amazed I wish someone had told me that the format was like that,

Im not that strick of a parent, my 9 year old watches with me Labor and Deliver and I explain, and he also watches baby story.

Do adults really sit down at night and watch those cartoons, I just saw the warning while I was flipping stations the other night and it states mature themes and mature language. and mature content.

Well "adult" may be a loose term (), but yes there are a lot of people over 18 that watch Cartoon Network.

I LOVE the cartoon "Home Movies" that is part of adult swim. I think it's hilarious. It's the only one I watch, though. It comes on at 11p.m. where I am. I don't think it's that bad, though. There's not even anything too "adult" about it at all. It's definately NOTHING compared to "Beavis and Butthead" or "Southpark".

I've watched the girls gone wild thing in the middle of the night, and I find it funny. Almost all of the girls on it are very obviously drunk.

What I don't understand is why women in porn or on these commercials think it's sexy to stick their tongues out. DH and I crack up every time we see it!

The commercial that I am SO SICK of seeing is the Clairol Herbal Essance shampoo. I'm tired of seeing these women having "organic" experiences---pleeaaassssee. Time for a new commercial.

I agree bambii! Very much so. I KNOW that there are lots and lots of choices out there and with 108 channels - or however many we have - there is something that is NOT objectionable on at any hour. But it makes me crazy how on the "mainstream" networks there is little for my younger girls to watch that is not "too adult" at most any hour. At least IMO.
