Although I don't like him as much as the other contestants he still does have a good voice. If you try closing your eyes and listening next time you'll see that that is true. One night I even thought he sounded identical to Anwar. It's just his looks that are throwing people off. But that's not really fair, is it? Shouldn't we judge people by the way they sing and not by the way they look? Also, I think Simon is right- he is the "ordinary guy". He's the underdog and people root for him. Now for those of you who still "hate" him, his days are numbered so don't worry. Again, I personally am not a Scott fan but I felt that someone needed to stick up for him here.
