I HATE planning in advance!

Anyone with me? I need instant gratification. We booked last month for an arrival the last weeked in September and this is probably the furthest out we've EVER booked a trip. Usually it's about 3 months notice. I don't know how you people who plan trips years in advance do it! I can't stand it! I'm driving myself crazy just wanting to be there NOW!

I agree. We're going at the end of Sept. too and it is all I can think about. It will be so hard to wait so long. It was also hard to choose m ADRs so far in advance.

Planning it is how I maintain my sanity and keep from wanting to be there NOW!

Doesn't work so well, though, I end up planning three trips at once...

I think I enjoy the planning as much as I enjoy the trip. On our last trip, we only decided to go to WDW six weeks before our departure date. Even though this was our third trip and I was on this board nearly every night before our trip, I still felt like I didn't have enough time to plan the trip. One reason WDW is one of my favorite vacation destinations is because you can spend so much time planning your trip.

I think planning is half the fun. It helps fill in the time between trips. Our next trip is not until Nov. 2007 !!!!! and I have already been thinking about what we want to do and which restaurants to choose. I think I would go crazy if I WASN'T planning or helping someone else plan their trip. Just helps keep the magic alive for me.

Oh don't get me wrong. . . I love planning the details and researching. . . I just hate having definitive dates so far out! LOL!

I KNOW!! I made ADRs the day after I booked just because I didn't want to risk things filling up with free dining. It was so tough! I don't know what I'm going to be hungry for in 6 months! LOL! But we wanted to consider trying Cali Grill so I grabbed a great ADR time so we'd have it and I can cancel as the date nears if we decide to go back to Citrico's. Then I made one for 5:45 on the night of MNSSHP we're going to. I still have 2 more TS credits and have NO clue what our "plan" is other than that party so I don't even know where to begin trying to narrow down dinner this far in advance!

Sounds like me - I keep trying to figure out quik getaways, LOL!
