I too am having a day like that. Every business that I have had to deal with today has been the most obnoxious bunch of heinies. Are people no longer taught to be polite and have conversations without being rude? Seriously! My children have better manners than these idiots!

Everyone has their bad days where nothing goes right and you think the world is against you.

Even when that happens - think of that pixie dust and let it sprinkle down on you. Think of a happy time, take a few moments and breathe deeply.

Remember the other person that you are talking to just might be having a day themselves. When people come across that negative I turn that into positive.

It's not easy but if you try, you'll feel better too!

Last week a gentleman came in and was looking to purchase an airline ticket. He was very rude and inconsiderate and didn't want to give me his correct information. He wouldn't spell anything for me ( I wanted to make sure that I had all of the names correct )

My other co workers kept emailing me and said tell him to leave you don't want his business. I kept smiling and I got the sale, after he left I said to them yes he was very rude but you know what I made the sale because I killed him with kindness. Just because he is a rude person doesn't mean that I should not assist him, I made the sale!

Or they could just be a complete butthead. Today I can assure you the people I dealt with were just plain incompetent and rude. No bad day. I did kill them with kindness but I really want to call them something that would get me banned here.

Sometimes people ARE just butt-heads and that's that. We need a smilie butt-head.

When I feel really, really blah, I admit I go to the compassionate boards here and read up on some inspiring people and then I'm all better again. Sometimes it helps to write an encouraging note to another, too.

I'm having one of those days too. Everyone and everything is on my nerves. I was even thinking about saying I'm sick and going home but I might as well be grouchy at work and get paid for it than grouchy at home for free.

I just came home from the grocery store. An old woman told me that my 2 year old who was havng a temper tantrum should be put up for adoption or be a ward of the state because she was such a brat Then I start to walk away and she tells me that I am a B**** and should not have kids. The dairy employee and I looked at each other and wondered who does she thinks shop mid day during the week. I give up! What 2 year old doesn't have a meltdown?

I have a headache.
I spent the morning trying to get some pictures sent to a printer/publisher (long story). I love my new computer, but I DON'T KNOW WHERE ANYTHING IS ON THE THING.
I have to put everything *back* in two closets since the plumbers were here (another loooooooong story).
I have to have two pieces memorized and letter-perfect before tomorrow.
I am tired of a certain person not taking advantage of opportunities that are OFFERED to them.
I am SICK of the people who are buying the house next door and I haven't even met them. It's in perfect shape, great upgrades, but NOOooooooooooooo, these folks have been here at least SIX or SEVEN times to investigate it and inspect it and stand in the yard and talk and talk and talk about it with family members and house inspectors and realtors and the present homeowners. They're concerned about moisture and mold. HELLO...Our area's geology consists almost completely of marine clay and our neighborhood is infested with springs. Which do not drain WELL. I'm gonna LOVE living next to them....NOT.
I am TIRED of the house on the other side that has been a construction zone for the past five months and this house re-do is turning out uuuuuugly.

Did I mention the headache?
