So frustrated! Trying to make my ADRs this morning, but of course the website isn't working right. All I get is "can't check availability now, try later". Tried Chrome, tried IE, tried my phone, none of it works. So I call, because that is better than nothing. "Due to high call volume, the hold time is greater then 30 mins"!!! AAAHHHH!!!!

Today was our 180+ 10 day ---- had 2 iPads going--- kept having to hit refresh--- was so annoying , but basically got what we wanted---- ton of Epcot restaurants being held back---- assuming for the cp packages--- don't give up !

yes its very annoying. I dont think i've ever been able to make ADRs at the 180 mark. I always end up calling! :furious:

Just got off the phone. Was on hold for right about 30 mins. Got most of what I wanted, except any Epcot restaurants. Now I get to stalk the dining site for days on end waiting for them to open up.... :badpc:

Same here as well. When we made our ADR's back in December for our trip in a few weeks I had to call and wait over 30 minutes to talk to someone because the website would only allow me to book at the 180 day mark and not beyond. I later learned there have been a lot of problems for DVC members booking beyond the 180 day mark. As much as I love Disney, their websites would be an excellent study in how NOT to do it. >:(

While I was using the second computer to see if it would magically work, I was asked if I would like to take a survey on my experience with the Disney website. Yes, please! So I took the survey while I was waiting on hold. At least I had a place to vent before speaking to the helpful CM on the phone.

I really have found that the process of getting what you want is so much better over the phone!...I am not sure if that is because they can see more of what's available, or that they can see multiple times/days at a time, but the agent's system seems more streamlined, and they offer options that a machine just cannot.

I feel your frustration! In February I spent about an hour making reservations online because it kept saying things were unavailable even though I knew they were available. I had to keep refreshing and refreshing website to get it to work. The worst was the very first day they made BOG lunch an ADR.. The phones were down ALL day! But oddly enough, even tho online said that unavailable message it booked two ADR'S for me so I had to cancel one later in the day. Glad you eventually got thru and got mostly what you wanted! :)

:lmao: I couldnt agree with you more.

I always call to make ADR's. The cast members are always so friendly and helpful and nothing beats being told to "have a magical day" when you end a call! :)

I had the same issues except by the time I got to a CM after being on hold nothing I wanted was available. :headache:

I agree! With all the money that make, you would think that this would be a pretty easy thing to fix. It seems to be getting worse over the years, not better.

Ugh, me too. There's just no excuse for such terrible IT. I was able to make some reservations today for the weekend after thanksgiving for my mom and extended family, but now tonight it won't let me reserve anything after the Tuesday before. And half the time I was still getting that error message. I am seriously reconsidering even bothering to wak up at 3 am to fight the website when my window opens Monday. I think I'll just wait and call later. It's not worth it. Especially when all the epcot restaurants are being held back. We were somehow able to book BoG for 13 people for lunch so I feel like all my other hopeful reservations are not as difficult to score.

so if you have to call for dining what time are they open don t imagine 6am would be the rule , would it be 9 or sooner?

my son has been trying for couple weeks now every time he tries for october it says no available seats for july 10th, tried every day for october but says the same yesterday there was 5.05 slot for BOG booked it but went straight back to no availble seats for july 10th, so thats at least two weeks not been working, you would think a company this big would have sorted it out by now
