I am so sick of having comcast as our cable provider. i don't understand why they are allowed to be such a monopoly.
a couple months ago when we called because we were having a problem, we were told we were the only people in our apartment building that hadn't gone to digital cable yet (which is not true), and that we should "get with the times."
then on sunday when dh tried to order a ppv, we discovered our ppv channel had disappeared. when he called to find out what was going on they told us that they no longer offer ppv to basic cable subscribers and you have to get digital.
so we caved and decided to sign up for digital. dh took off from work early today b/c they were supposed to come out between 5-8. he called to confirm the appointment when he got home. of course, they have no record of our appointment today, they have us booked for an appointment on saturday instead.
so now dh has taken off work early and we have to cancel our saturday plans or reschedule and take off from work early again. UGH!!!!!!
