...because I had the best check-in ever! We arrived by car at 12:30 in the afternoon. The gate agent handed us a parking pass and we were greeted by name at the front door of the Kidani Villas. My husband parked the car in temporary parking while I was personally escorted to the check-in counter.
My room was ready
, a Savannah View studio, in the first section! No long walk for me. Third floor, room 7308. It was spotless and beautiful and seemed large for a studio. I liked the bathroom layout.
We had a feeding station for giraffes right outside of our balcony, so we saw the giraffes every day, as well as zebras, cattle, birds, etc. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the pool there. It was peaceful and the landscaping was perfect. We avoided the pool in the afternoon when they were doing games on the loud speaker, though. It was too loud and got annoying. We also went to the main pool at Jambo house, but preferred the Samawati pool.
We had lunch at Maji, and also at Sanaa, and dinner at Boma. Boma was great as usual, but Sanaa was amazing. We ate every crumb there! I could drown in their chai cream dessert! We did the free culinary tour of Boma and Jiko which was fun, and we got to try a few things from each place.
Service was fantastic everywhere. The Cast Members are really professional. I can't wait to return! Two thumbs up for AKV.
